Ä°LGÄ° Autism association
Ä°LGÄ° Autism Association was established in 1988 in Ankara by the parents of the children with a diagnosis of autism.
The association, as a public-benefit non-profit NGO, works to attain the aim that individuals with autism can have high quality services for their diagnosis, education, independent and social life, employment and healthcare.
Since individualized education is known as the most effective treatment, the association founded the Private Ä°LGÄ° Special Education and Rehabilitation Centre, that has provided education for more than 2500 students. Currently, there are 60 students that continue their education in the centre while 18 students from nationwide have complementary education.
